Our mission is to provide new or gently used furniture to those in need, treating each client graciously, with Christian hospitality. Our service area is Alamance County.
The Furniture Ministry Program collects slightly-used furniture and beds to deliver to families who have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, fire or limited income. These are items that we take for granted each day. We were able to assist 172 families and provided 284 beds in 2014. This ministry is a group of volunteers that work throughout the month to pick up donated furniture and household items in order to deliver the second Saturday of each month. Additional volunteers assist on Saturday morning deliveries from 9:00 to 12:00. All are welcome to attend and assist in a delivery workday.
