At First Presbyterian Church Burlington, everyone has a place. We welcome you to worship with us each Sunday and to grow and learn with us. Serve with us as we reach out to touch the face of human need in our community and the world.
Bring your musical talents to our choirs or your strong arms to our Furniture Ministry. Hang out with friends at Youth Group, or find fellowship and prayer with our Prayer Shawl Ministry. There are opportunities for all ages.
At FPC you’ll meet friends, you’ll worship and serve, you’ll find a quiet moment to pause and give thanks in our Chapel or Sanctuary, and you’ll touch the life of our community.
We’d love to have you here.
What to expect in worship
Our traditional and passionate worship service has deep and vibrant roots. Our traditions have invigorated the church in past days, yet connect us to the realities of our contemporary world.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door by an usher and handed a bulletin. You can choose to sit on the first floor or upstairs in the gallery. Most people are wearing their “Sunday Best,” but you’ll realize that not everyone interprets that the same way! The bulletin will help you follow along with the service, and if you have any questions, your neighbor or an usher will be happy to help.
We welcome children in worship. They may join others at the front for a Time with Children. Welcome to Worship bags are available with activities for kids. There is also a nursery available.
We believe that worship invites us to come with expectant hearts and open ourselves to encountering the living Christ. Learn more about what Presbyterians believe.
