First Presbyterian Facilities

First Presbyterian Church has beautiful facilities that contribute to a variety of ministries...

The Sanctuary, which is a Harold Wagoner design, was built in 1953 and will seat 650 people including the balcony. The Williams Chapel, which is a similar design to the sanctuary will seat 120.

Calvin Hall is our large fellowship hall, which is served by an adjoining commercial kitchen. We have a variety of classrooms and offices. The full layout of our buildings will enable you to determine the location of all rooms.

Community Outreach Building

In 2009, First Presbyterian Church built a 6,000 sq. ft. Community Outreach Building to support other community agencies and ministries.  Meals on Wheels for Alamance and Caswell Counties and the Women’s Resource Center both have their offices in the top floor of this building.  This is one way in which we provide tangible support to two agencies which have major impacts in our area.  First Presbyterian’s Furniture ministry is in the ground floor of this building.

Resource Center

First Presbyterian Church Resource Center is a warm and welcoming place to come and enjoy a wide-range of books, reference materials, periodicals and study guides. Books for children, youth and adults fill the shelves and are waiting for you to enjoy. Whether you are interested in serious study, topical issues of faith or books for your children, you will find a book that meets your needs. New titles are being added monthly. We invite you to come, browse and check out the selection of your choice.
