Senior High Youth
Our senior high youth have a long history of fellowship, worship and service together. We talk about everything from other religions to relationships to tough theological topics. Service is a very important part of our community as well.
Each fall we go on a retreat together (often a beach retreat). We celebrate our graduates in the spring with a Senior Banquet and Graduate Sunday.
During Sunday School on Sunday mornings, the senior high youth have good, in-depth Bible Study and discussion. We will be starting a new Bible Study curriculum this fall.
Senior high youth are also eligible to attend any of the Fellowship Dinners adult classes offered on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the spring. We have added a youth small group bible study to our Fellowship Dinners as well.
Each Tuesday during the school year, senior highs meet at the local Biscuitville restaurant at 7:15 a.m. before school for good food, good friends and a devotion.
Summer trips include a week-long service trip and Montreat Youth Conference. Past service trips have included: Harlan, Kentucky; Sitka, Alaska; Johns Island, South Carolina; Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
