Student/Teacher Exchange in Peru this summer!

A word from Elizabeth Mize, our teacher traveling to Peru this summer:

I have been a teacher for many years, but never in Peru! Please keep me in your prayers as this non-Spanish speaking gringo heads to Moyobamba with a translating app in hand and a willing heart to connect and find my place in our long association with the Annie Soper School. While I have taught children of many different ages (FPC playschool through 6th graders), this will be a new kind of experience for me. I leave behind my dad in Iredell County and our scattered children (Sam: Seattle; Charlie: Durham; Lily: Boone at ASU) and husband Bobby, who will join me along with the group traveling from FPC in July. We both look forward to our adventure and know that good and unimagined things await us. Please feel free to email me at elizabeth_mize@abss.k12.nc.us. Don’t forget to add Samantha and me to your summer prayer list as we embark on a different kind of summer trip. Blessings all around!
