Remember the Promise – Wade in the Waters, Take Heart
As women, we all have times when it feels as if we are treading water, swamped by waves, unable to find our way out of the sea. In those times, it is easy to question – “where is God?”, “does God know who I am?”, “what will happen to me?”. In both Isaiah and John, we find scripture that gives us a life-line, the courage to find a way out of the waters. God names us and claims us, deems us precious in his sight, and through grace and mercy, brings us peace. Come explore what it means to “Take Heart,” to remember God’s promise to us and to live fully in God’s love and care.
